Dear Friends,

National Deaf People of Color is hosting the Fourth Triennial National Conference at Texas School for the Deaf in Austin,Texas from July 21-24, 2016. This year’s conference theme is "Beyond Your Lens: Intersectional Identities.” The conference focuses on strengthening the educational, cultural, social, civil, and economic advancement of deaf/hard of hearing people of color and the importance of continuing their education as a means of empowerment.

This conference will include workshops, exhibits, meals, an opening ceremony and the closing night cookout.

Limited housing on campus is available on a first come, first serve basis. The rate is $12.00 per night per person. Linen is not included so you will need to bring you own. There are lodging options located close to the campus. Please see the NDPC website for more information.

We are expecting approximately 200 Deaf people from around the world to attend this event. Come join us at the NDPC Conference for an opportunity to learn, discover, share knowledge, see old friends, and make new ones!
